MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

A little clarity before your next chapter.

What you unlock

Reading access is personal and linked to your Literunico account. A full-book purchase unlocks the chapters included in the offer. A chapter purchase unlocks the selected chapter. Open My library to return to your books and review payment status.

Online reading access and downloadable editions are separate offers. An EPUB, PDF or physical copy is included only when the offer explicitly lists it.

Samples and prices

Platform-provided books in the English catalogue cost US$3 up to 20 chapters, US$5 up to 50, US$8 up to 100, and US$10 above 100. The preferred sample is five chapters, limited to 15% of the work, with at least one free chapter for multi-chapter books. Single-chapter works have no free chapter under this policy. Short works may therefore exceed 15% to provide the one-chapter minimum.

The paid portion is divided across its chapters, with cent rounding so the chapter prices add up to the full-book price. Previously purchased chapters are deducted from the remaining full-book offer. Other publishers may set different terms.

USD reading credit and checkout

Before payment, the offer shows the selected access, your available USD reading credit, and the card amount. Small payments top up at least US$0.50; any unused amount remains as USD reading credit. This balance is separate from the Brazilian-real wallet.

Stripe handles card checkout. Access becomes available after payment confirmation. A cancelled or incomplete checkout grants access only if payment is subsequently confirmed. Your card issuer may apply currency conversion or international fees. The final currency and amount are shown before you pay.

Delivery and other editions

Physical books are currently delivered within Brazil. The basket shows those offers in Brazilian reais (BRL), with any applicable discount and shipping before payment. Digital reading access in USD is a separate purchase.

Payment problems and refunds

For a duplicate charge, an access problem or a refund request, use Contact support. Include the account email, book title and payment reference from your status page. Keep passwords and full card details private.

Requests are assessed under the applicable purchase terms and consumer rights. This page does not create a new refund deadline or limit statutory rights. A confirmed full refund reverses the reading access granted by that payment. Other purchases remain recorded; partial refunds adjust the corresponding credit.

Your data and choices

Your account, purchased access and reading position support the service. Optional marketing consent is separate from account creation. Read the Privacy Policy for the data used, providers, retention and your rights, and the Terms of Use for account and reading conditions.
