I think the one responsible for my introduction into the world of contemporary national love romance is Dani Mart. She was the first Brazilian author I read when I returned to the genre, almost 40 years old. I fell in love, read everything she wrote, texted her and ended up having the honor of having the cover of my first book made by her. In this novel, a Brazilian author ends up getting involved with the owner of a bar, a very tasteful Frenchman, because of a bet. It's passion at first sight and a passion that knocks everything down.
