Possible Love
(Twin poem from yesterday's poem)
What if one day, on a corner:
"Oh, you? Hello, girl!"
"How are you? Are you okay?"
And smile at me too,
And so the thin breeze
The passions that come and go
We'll be the hero
A romance or something.
And if, one day,
Show you how much I want you,
And how much you can be mine,
Even if you're not alone!...
I guess, to be honest,
You will remember the love I had
And on that day, I hope,
You will become my queen.
Ah! If one day, one day,
♪ Call you with joy ♪
"Hi, missing!" And you,
Take it easy to say:
"I've long wanted
Tell him yours I'll be:
Don't be sad, smile!
Our love will be reborn!"
Or if one day your judgment
To advise you without warning:
"Don't erase your burning!
Go after him, wherever you go!"
You know what it takes:
Look me up, please.
And tell me, with a smile:
"What I feel is love."
But one day, if you think
Who can still love me,
Don't be ashamed: call me,
That I run to your bed!...
But until then, I'll wait,
Without making life a drama,
And with the singular certainty
Which you only have when you love.
