...
I wanted to write a sad poem
On a very expensive piece of Japanese rice,
Or on an Italian Amalfi paper,
With Meisterstück pen
And then slowly pour on it
My best perfume,
For alcohol to stain ink
Like a watercolor of tears.
And before the alcohol evaporated completely,
I'd burn it, and I'd admire it.
My sad words dissolve
In smoke and warm ashes.
And then I would say quietly to my heart:
"It's done. It's over. Those words
They won't live in you anymore,
And maybe not in my memory anymore."
Only the heart, that shameless,
You don't understand symbols. He understands it's touch,
Absence, smell, interrupted gesture.
And these... you can't burn.
No, there's no ritual. There's resilience.
Sometimes the poem itself knows when it's over.
Even if we feel that still
There's something missing that could just be silence.
Sometimes the best ending
That's when we stop writing
Because I've said everything that hurt.
Until it turns this silence into a title.
This text, this sad poem
It's like a confession that ends in exhaustion.
The short breath of regret.
What comes next... is no longer a poem. It's a scar.
