To the Sovereign Goddess of the Night Shining in Heaven The Moon
(Old poems)
I
♪ From the sky ♪ ♪ Look at the moon lady ♪
Clearing the night, waiting for the day,
Out of the clouds your vain magic
That falls on the river, the house, the street.
From heaven, sovereign, remains naked
Minute, growing, full, empty;
Joyful, who dances in sweet folia;
From the sky, sovereign, he looks at us and floats.
What in this heaven does Thy dwelling place,
O Moon, perfect peace and calm,
Who burneth in thee, maketh it perpetual?
Don't let it exist on this cold night,
A breath of pain, which in You situates
The night remnants of my poetry.

The White Moon cleared the street
And so dark, and so simple,
That I, from the window almost naked
Behold the street, which was beautiful,
♪ Thinking about the one that gave me tenderness ♪
In the purest way of saying "I love you,"
And in your ocean I swam bravely
And so sweet, I call you today
And without knowing your appreciation,
I don't even know if I deserve it, but I'll get it.
A way to love you, like I don't know
And so I grow up to conquer you;
And give you the world, which I forget for you,
Where there's no price for anyone who wants to dream.

Moon, what a beautiful and deep sky
Shine, wink, charm the world,
Take me to her without delay
Before the sun reaches the dawn.
Moon, sweet lighted ball,
Take me to my beloved.
Which, then, I'll take care of.
Shine on me more than any star.
The moon, which spies on us from above,
And for whom I dedicate this poetry,
Take this call, please:
Because she knows I live without money,
And with vague health all over the world;
But I'll die in a second without your love.
