Modernist sonnet
Ancient poems 001
I found a very old file, lost in lost folders of lost drives. I don't have the dates, but my memory is great and I know they're from 1995-1996.
No, they're not good, I know. But I wanted to leave them here. Not that Literunico is a deposit, but it could be a memory log.
Don't freak out. Take it back. They're old and old, and the result of experiments. Many of them were only done as exercise - and it is great to record them because it shows that my (little) good poems come from tons of tests and bad exercises. Long live persistence!
Now, enough talk and excuses. Here's the first one called...
Modernist sonnet
I could tell you:
"Multiple the stars of the sky
by the drops of the ocean, and will have one
vague idea of how much I love you."
But I'm not good at math;
I could talk like this:
"The moon is inspired by your beauty to shine,
And the sun steals from your heat to rise...",
But I suck at astronomy.
Oh, my God, I could tell you:
"If this was my street, I'd have it tiled
With pebbles of brilliance, only for you to pass."
But I'm not that rich yet.
I'm not very smart;
But I love you.
