Where honey meets the ocean
(Old poems 010)
Eyes like yours, baby, I swear:
Never in my life have I seen the same.
Bright, green to dark brown,
Dark as night on the coast.
Take good care of these eyes, Amore mio,
Like pearls of value without a pair,
Reflecting the turbid waters of a river,
It borders the clear waters of the sea.
And keep me in these boreal vitreas,
So I can live in such
Myriads of dreams and love,
As if it were the amber surrounding the jade,
Who shines light and invades me,
And he steals my soul from my eyes.
