The Most Beautiful Dream
(Old Poems 013)
Silly but cute poem with strange rhymes (ABCD ABCD).
Old things...
If ever I could
steal from the sky
the most beautiful star
of the whole universe,
with her, if she did,
I'd make a ring,
Just to arrest her.
in my poor verse.
One day I can,
from that garden,
Take a rose
still buttoned;
And walking with you
Together with me,
so wonderful;
I swear then
With the rose I'd do
the most beautiful arrangement
that in your hair
would be entangled;
And the ring would be,
My love, my angel,
the most beautiful seal
of our engagement.
