Days without you
Some days I don't think about you.
My mind is cloistered in my distinct universes,
Taking care of old things and old worries,
Without waiting for a glow and a call.
There are days when you can't fit anymore,
That I keep to real life problems
- the small problems of mediocre lives.
A life that doesn't involve your presence.
Some days I don't think about you
And these are the worst days,
Why don't you bring me magic
To have something really beautiful to share.
These are the worst days, because they show me that their omnipresence
One day it will become just presence,
And then it will become a memory,
It will become nothing.
And one day, those bad days will perpetuate
Until they become "common days"
No more bad days,
But a bad life.
To think of you or not
It won't bring me any different emotion;
It'll be more of a common thought,
On a bad, ordinary day.
Or maybe new emotions come out,
From a new pair of feline eyes,
From a sweet, delicate new voice,
A new instigating personality.
These days, I know,
A new glow will arise in my life,
And even though I never think of you again,
I'll be eternally grateful for what you once made me.
