Would anyone like to read the first chapter of my new book?
It's called The Idea Thief. For once, a sci-fi. For once, about time travel and technology.
The book talks about a boy who's always making things up, but shortly before he launches or finishes his invention, he discovers that someone has just launched before him. He loses everything he has (the company, the apartment, everything) and becomes a beggar, and gives up creating things.
That's when an antagonist shows up and says, "Hey! What's this about ending my business?"
He then discovers that everything he invented the antagonist - the thief of title ideas - would take, go back in time and sell to a large company. And that all these big companies create is, in fact, thefts of future creations.
He then makes a deal with the idea thief: he will create another great invention, but then he wants to get his life back.
Is the premise good? Would anyone like to read it?
I have the first chapter here (can still be changed) and anyone who can read and give me feedback... I'd be grateful.

I'm already curious! Light and dynamic. The ones we “devour.”.
Its writing is engaging and delicious, the relaxed tone balances lightness and technical precision. The protagonist, when talking directly to the reader, pulls us into the narrative in a natural way. In addition, the almost biographical approach to the impact of technology gives depth and authenticity to history. Congratulations! I love it. Ah! I like the title of the chapter too.
