The Flute
(the winning poem)
1: a brief impression
I saw a bee among the flowerbeds
Sucking the honey from the dripping jasmine trees;
In the sky, they were flying squeamish colobines:
Here's the girl bringing me some new color.
Black hair, and loose, and long,
Open smile, small bright eyes;
He had a flute between his wobbly lips,
From which he blew long acutes and senses.
What do you want, poor little angel,
Jumping and resonating your flautin?
Or do you think the flute is sweeter and thinner
What's the honey the bee sucks from jasmine?
Now it is God who sings for the collombine.
Let them whistle in the garden!
2: Another short print
You bring a flute, brightening my day,
Inspiring to me the light and subtle melody,
Enchanting me more than a thousand lire of Orpheus.
Flute girl, how sweet is your fortune!
Blowing the casual, thin breeze
Tuning notes blown by God;
You bring a flute, kissing your lips,
Sweet instrument of the gods and the wise
Know the secrets of your sighs;
And when you play the flute, you touch my soul.
And your light blow wraps me and calms me
To blow my life, to bring me to heaven.
3: The Flute
Sweet;
May life be as beautiful as your countenance,
And every moment I would tell you, sweet fairy,
How much you are loved by this childish fool.
So radiant is you, beloved muse.
That there was nothing in my dark sorrow,
Who, by blowing high from your light mouth,
So soon it was bright, shining
What is your look, chaste and pure as snow.
Light;
Which should be the most lyrical song,
Which warmth can bring me the dream
Your giggling murmur, with such charm
Vivid and holy – tell me, and I compose it!
Oh, how sad and lame is this heart!
I wish God's hand gave him such loves...
Morning kisses on your lips, or else,
Pink button, adorning you even more!...
Ah! My life, at most, is so empty!...
There is no poetry for those who suffer from love:
And I just grow the desire that one day,
Be my guide, Angel Moreno, and hear my prayer
And that I could change the pain of your absence
By the most beautiful agenda ever composed;
And let it be so, blown like a flute
What a careless, slender sweet flute.
Light and sweet.
