Some world
Franthesca Kally 13/08/2026
In some world, the us still happen, that you still love me
Somewhere that doesn't exist on this map
Where the stars may be closer to the earth
And the oceans have learned to keep secrets, we're still together
In this world, time has not come to us
Spring didn't come to take away
What flourished among us
Winter never found its way home
The tides don't carry our promises away
There, you still look at me, like it's the most natural thing in the world.
And I still believe
But there is this world too
The world you've become a memento
And I needed to learn to exist after us
Here, the same stars remain in the sky
But they seem to belong to another reality
The same wind crosses the trees, the rivers keep running to the sea
The flowers continue to be born from the earth, as if life had no obligation
Stop when someone leaves
And maybe that's what hurts the most, knowing that there are infinite worlds
Where some version of us could have worked
But I was left just in this, where they say, that it will pass
Like I asked for it, like I wanted to get out of this story.
Loading knowledge instead of happiness
And then you slowly become a memory
But my love, you don't want to be past
With scars that time still touches
With roots that have learned to resist, with heart tired of storms

Under construction
Franthesca Kally 06/08/2026
New month, new problems, new challenges
The sky awakens as a blank screen
Where dawn spreads inks of hope
Each cloud is a trace, every ray of light, a new color
Life also paints its ways
Sometimes with soft tones
Sometimes with storm brushes
But every painting gets beauty when we don't give up the next brush stroke
May this new month be a work under construction
Where Challenges See Learning
Problems Mould Courage
And the sky reminds us, every day, that there's always room for a new color

Outside
The rain falls outside, but it doesn't wash what's left
In the mirror I see someone I don't even know who became
Tremble hands seek another sip to hide
The emptiness that insists on never forgetting me
I drink to drown the feelings inside me
I drink trying to relieve the weight that has no end
I survive at dawn without knowing where to go
With his eyes snarled, just trying to resist
I drink to smile, even anesthetized
Words want out, but they die in the throat
If you want to stop all this, hold me like the last time
Make me feel like there's still some lucidity
The smoke rises to the ceiling and brings the little reason
Empty bottles keep my floor company
Each sip promises me a moment of peace
But when the effect wears off, the pain comes back even more
I fall into a deep pit without seeing the direction
I get lost between right and wrong, no solution
You can't trust smiles without truth
Sometimes they hide the worst storm
I drink to drown the feelings inside me
I drink trying to relieve the weight that has no end
If you want to stop all this, hold me again
Before I disappear at once
I commit sins that may lead me to hell
And yet I want you, even in the middle of winter
You try to find me in the dark I lived in
While I drown in everything I've hidden
The mirror no longer shows who I used to be
Just the reflection of someone tired of suffering
Unsaid words sink into another sip
While the dawn swallows me

Between heaven and earth

They say fate writes with ink made of stars
But forget to explain why some pages
They are born to never be read to the end
That's when heaven introduced me to you
Like the one who brings the sun to the horizon, just to remember
That neither one can touch the other without setting the world on fire
In you I found the words my soul spoke before birth
It was like coming home without ever knowing the way
And yet the earth required distance
You walked between the seasons, I remained stuck to the roots that time planted
As our eyes built constellations, our feet obeyed the clay
What cruel irony, the universe moved planets
He doubled the wind, aligned stars
That took centuries to find each other
Mixed heaven and earth just to prove
That we existed for each other
And when finally our hands learned
The drawing of each other, fate smiled
He collected the miracle and returned us to silence
Since then, every night the sky carries its name, and every morning the earth reminds me
That not everything that blooms was made to be harvested
Maybe some souls won't come to stay
Come only to teach that the greatest form of love is to recognize infinity in the few moments
That fate has allowed us to live, because there are people
That heaven gives us the delicacy of a gift but eternity itself
It forbids us to call our own

Silence and response

And if silence could answer
Maybe I'd tell you everything the voice forgot
There's a garden hidden inside him
Where promises bloom that no one has fulfilled
Today I found the shadow I left behind
She still knew my ways
As if time had never taken
What I insisted on leaving
The moon collects forgotten promises
Hanging each in the immensity of the night
As the sky stood still
I learned to hear what was never said
And when the last star whispered her words
The night closed its eyes without making noise
Only then did I understand that some answers
They are born just where silence ends

Strange madness
Franthesca Kally 02/07/2026
Every morning you're born without a permit, as if you don't know
The damage from the night before
Months collect ruins, and yet insist
To teach the flowers the foolishness to return.
There's a strange madness
In patching with your own scars
Like the one who sews the skin, knowing that it will tear again
Sometimes silence is the loudest cry
It's strange how some pain never fades
They just learn to wait
Every scar is a word that time couldn't erase
Loving the hurt is the quietest in prisons
Pain transforms, but it is not it that defines a destiny
Maybe it's courage or complete madness
to be reborn every day
Every month, as if the heart still believes
That it's worth patching up one more time

“What if” in the mind
Franthesca Kally 25/06/2026
The church dressed in flowers and light,
as two looks returned to the past;
between promises of a new love,
There was a dream abandoned.
The years brought marks and silence,
silver threads and constructed lives;
But it was just one simple encounter
to awaken dormant memories.
They saw the children before the altar,
united by the love they did not live;
And in every gesture of the newlyweds,
The desires themselves have been reborn.
He spoke of lost happiness,
She hid her tears in her eyes;
Because certain truths remain,
Even when we tried to bury it.
Between rings, smiles and applause,
the heart refused to forget;
For the first love, when it is true,
just learn to survive.
And while the bride and groom said yes,
Two souls were silent, alone;
stuck to the oldest question:
What if that marriage was ours?

Toxic
Franthesca Kally 18/06/2026
We're too toxic for each other.
We realize that's how we stay
One always twisting what the other does wrong
Even if the other accepts the mistake
If a mistake is made, let the consequences be damned
Here comes another bomb.
We have control over each other
Out of the ordinary, out of the sanity
Always teasing each other's worst
And too toxic
We hurt others, no matter what.
With what comes next
Our relationship is toxic.
Always deviating from the guilt of those who made the mistake
Always making a mess
The position you're in is always questioning our principles.
To defend the other
A distortion, so that everything is right
Even if we want to go against
That's what they call love, don't let go
Why can't this happen?
We don't work, we still stay
Hurting each other, no matter the consequences
This has to end and it's too toxic for us

Between Salt and Grey
Franthesca Kally 11/06/2020
The world is full of chaos, while many pretend not to see
Summer and winter no longer arrive as seasons, but as excesses
One scorching the skin to the bone, another freezing hope on the fingers
Two extremes plunged into abnormality, as if the Earth itself had unlearned balance
There's sea, there's sand, there's golden sunshine on the waves
But even beauty seems distorted when observed by the eyes of a burning time
The powerful rest on comfortable balconies, dressed in sweet smiles dictating what is beautiful
What is acceptable, what deserves applause
Meanwhile, the rest fasten their belts around the waist, not out of vanity.
But to survive another day in the midst of the famine that silently corrodes
And among huge fires, not only the forests burn: they burn dreams, they burn names, they burn the courage to be
Everything looks deformed, like mirages dancing on the hot sand
Or broken reflexes under winter ice, people run after faces that don't belong to them.
They try to dress up other people's fates mimic strange voices, forgetting the most urgent need: to seek out who they really are.
For perhaps the greatest disaster is not the summer that burns, nor the winter that freezes, but the life lived as a copy
The existence shaped to fit in the desire of others
And the sea remains immense, kissing the sand with the same old insistence
As if still whispering, through the chaos of the world: there is no greater beauty
than remain true
When everything around you insists on distorting who you are
