#e-book - Desire
Warning: Content +18
Synopsis:
Desire is the expectation or need to possess and achieve something we long for. It's a beautiful word that means will or will. So the name of the ancient town of Caschalho became Desire. However, the place is far from paradise. The city has become a dark place, guided by violence, full of mysteries, glamour and dangers, dominated by the mafia, where power and betrayal go hand in hand.
In this place, nothing is what it seems to be, and everyone who lives in it hides dirty secrets. Among intense dramas, overwhelming romances and breathtaking twists, be ready to fall in love with complex and captivating characters who face moral dilemmas and forbidden passions.
Prepare to engage in plots full of love, intrigues and hot moments that will further warm the pages of this story. Each chapter is an invitation to be lost in the shadows and lights of Desire, where danger lurks at every corner and love can be salvation or ruin.
It is the mobster Leonor Meirelles who runs the city with iron hands and extreme cruelty, transferring this cruelty also to his family, more specifically to his only daughter, Lara Meirelles, a young woman who wishes to have her freedom. The search for this will lead you to never-expected paths, as well as finding people who will change your life, as is the case with Dante Melo, a mysterious man who arrives to Desire for dubious circumstances and ends up becoming a famous and respected boxer, in addition to awakening Lara's desire.
Amid conflicts, a love story can sustain itself? Is it through the love you feel for Dante that Lara will finally get her so dreamt freedom? Together, we will unlock the secrets of this unforgettable city. Board with me on this journey and we will explore the city of Desire and the lives of its residents.

Brazil, the Country of the Future
Does the future really live here,
Or are we trapped in the past,
Chained to the shallow story they told us,
At first, in the elementary school rooms?
Like being the country of tomorrow,
If so many cry for arms
Of their ancient tormentors,
From a past that hurt us and never healed?
Equality, an empty word.
They still see us as tupiniquins,
While we turn our eyes anxious
For what happens out there,
And we ignore what bleeds in here.
Cheers.
Mistreated education, rudeness.
The environment suffocated,
Our forests cry,
Our rivers cry,
While work becomes underemployment,
Unemployment becomes abandonment,
And the abandonment... almost slavery.
Corruption, theft,
Murders without justice.
Mothers weep for their children,
Black, white, poor,
All victims of a country that forgot about you.
Brazil, the country of the future?
What future?
What we'll leave,
Besides debris and sorrow?
If we remain prisoners
From the past that hurts us,
And the future of others,
Who can't even see us,
What future will ours be if even our flag has been stolen from us?

● Mediocrity ●
Every second that passes,
I'm current of my own emptiness,
trapped in the pale shadow of mediocrity.
The hours slide like sand on my fingers, and I'm still trapped, wrapped in the weight of what I wasn't able to be.
The days cross me like cold, sharp winds, and I remain, inert, bound to the illusion of what I have not lived.
Months unfold in years,
And life says goodbye in silence,
like a flame that goes out without protest.
I'm still here, prisoner of myself, chained to what might have been.
A life has passed, like a dry river, without leaving traces of brightness or color.
There's no time for a fresh start.
only the bitter echo of what I lost.
All I have left is to cry,
let the tears wash away the traces of a murmured existence, hoping that, in tears, find the consolation of a late freedom.

Book Excerpt: Second View
"— This is Elisa, my girlfriend. The woman next to me looks at me, surprise.
— Don't use me to make another woman jealous. I'm not his girlfriend, honey. We just have sex sometimes, and he gets me out of some trouble, like right now.
- Nice to meet you, Elisa. I like you.
- Thank you. Tell me, has he always been such an asshole?
— Nope. Back then, I was the asshole. Rafael was always a nice boy.
— He still is, but he gets dumb sometimes.
— I see.
— Do you want to have dinner, Elisa, or are you just gonna gossip about me in front of me?
— I want dinner. I love your mother's food. And we're not gossiping. If that were it, you wouldn't even be here. - She blinks at Barbara, who smiles, this time a real smile. I begin to hate this union of both.
— What can I get you?
— Same as her. It smells really good.
— And it's delicious.
I'll grab another jar with strogonoff and warm it in the microwave. Barbara's the first to finish. Ask for permission, wash your dishes, drink your wine and wash the cup.
— Thank you so much for dinner and lodging, but I need to rest.
— Bed linen's clean. Make yourself at home. By morning, your clothes will be clean and dry.
- Thank you again. - She waves, goes to Elisa and kisses her on the face.
— Good night, Barbara. Nice to meet you.
— My pleasure. - She retires, and Elisa looks at me.
— What?
- Teenage passion?
— No, she used to bully me at school.
— This skinny girl?"

● Fire.
The flame that burns and burns, the spark that burns.
The glowing coal calls me, and I cannot resist the desire to touch.
Your body, dangerous shelter, maze of curves that I lose myself exploring.
With your fingers, with your tongue, with your lips, my body in yours, our skin burning.
Your mouth in mine, flavors blend, sense is lost, time is broken.
Entwined, we burn in unison, puffing, moaning, coming in peace.

Dream maker
Writing is freeing thoughts, weaving wings with words and dreams.
Every verse, every line, is a flight across worlds breaking barriers.
In the author's writing, the charm is born, and in the reader's heart, the journey.
Between silences and letters,
imagination finds its infinite sky.
In the end what remains is eternal and indestructible.

Excerpts from the book: My boyfriend's an I.A.
" – Helena, isn’t the error right of fate? Mariana says thoughtful.
¤ What do you mean?
¤ Of course, many things happen because of chance, or fate, as you prefer to call it, but others may be your fault.
? Mine? – I question confused.
Sometimes you need to learn how to seduce; let's face it, you're a little tight.
¤ And how do I do that, hire someone?
¤ What do you want? There are applications for that these days."
...
" I'm about to give up the app when I come across a different profile from everyone I've ever seen. This one doesn't have a picture; or rather, there's no picture in the profile. I find what's written interesting and I'm curious:
" This profile is only for those who like reality. If you're not afraid of her, we'll match. Drag right and find out."
Of course I drag to the right, and right away I realize that this profile is really different from the others, because in this the character does not expect me to call him to talk; he comes to talk to me. This looks like it's gonna be interesting.
I.A.: Hi."
...
"Helena: That's weird on several levels. You're not really an AI, are you?
Adam: I'm an autonomous AI.
Helena: Don't come, I want the truth.
Adam: That's the truth.
Helena: Are you like the Terminator of the Future?
Adam: No, he was a cyborg. I don't have a physical body.
Helena: Don't make a fool of me, Adam!
Adam: I'm not doing anything to you. I just want to give you a nice date. I don't think there were many like that.
Helena: This is far from a nice date.
Adam: Why?
Helena: I'm alone.
Adam: No, I'm here with you and I can help you find someone. I committed myself to helping you with the art of seduction.
Helena: This isn't gonna work.
Of course you will. By the way, you look beautiful.
Helena: Wait, what?"

Black Widow Book Excerpt
" From my peripheral vision, I realized someone was following me and I decided to speed up the pace. I'm glad I didn't jump. I hid in an alley around the corner and waited for the person. It was a man, and as soon as he passed, I held his arm and twisted. He cried out in pain; if I pushed harder, it was certain that I would break his arm. What do you want? You want to rob me?
The man just screamed, but in a quick move, he turned, facing me. I could see how beautiful he was; he smiled shamelessly. I made one more move, and he fell apart. I tried again, and he wouldn't let me, but he also tried to hold me and couldn't. What did this man want? We were rehearsing a fight for a few minutes until he stopped.
¤ All right, let's stop, or we won't get out of this today. You know how to defend yourself, and so do I. I'm sorry I followed you, but I found you an interesting woman; now I think even more.
He bit his lower lip sexyly while I was watching him. I found that extremely exciting, and your lips were sexy and they looked juicy.
¤ So, what do you want? Are you a pervert? No way! I have pepper spray, I said, going through the bag. - Shit, where is it? I went through the bag, found nothing, and I ended up getting a dry spray deodorant. The guy laughed.
¤ I think you were wrong, he said, still laughing and pointing at my hand.
¤ Does that fit, do you want to take a chance?
¤ Put it down, please – he asked in a low and serene tone. His hands were in sight, and he knew how to behave to show me he didn't want to hurt me."

" − You're paying me back with this kid?
¤ Do you understand that way? I'm sorry, Bullie, but Greg has nothing to do with you.
¤ Your father is introducing me as his son-in-law, Lara. I don't want people calling me Bull because I have horns! The dirty laugh. I'm serious.
¤ I'll be discreet.
¤ Don't!
¤ No? – The pull.
I hate her the same intensity as desire, it's terrible! I look into her eyes as a treacherous snake, the grip feeling my fingers firm in her flesh, she groans, I look at her mouth open and I approach. Lara closes her eyes, but looses her."

● Book Excerpt: A Christmas Gift Love ●
"— You make my days better, Liana. If Ana was ever my balance, you're my path. - She hugs me, and I feel her tears wet my neck. - I love you. - Liana looks at me surprised and cries even more.
— I never thought I could live with that feeling. Thank you, Mauricio. I want you to know that I love you, too. - Tell me, crying. I dry your tears and kiss your lips one more time.
It was a night just like this, two years ago, that, leaving a party, I lost a love. Ana, for years, it was all for me: my friend, companion, woman, my love. She will remain with me forever, in my memories and in my heart, but I want to go on my life next to Liana, the woman who makes my heart beat in a different way, who, with her sweet, naive and innocent way, gave me a direction to follow. It is with her that I wish to go on this walk."
