Sometimes she comes back
#Desafio 365 days (037 of 365)
Ref 06/02
Sometimes she comes back
He's awake.
In the middle of the night;
She was still there.
He pretended it was nothing.
You ignored your presence.
I'd rather be alone.
But her
He refused to leave.
I used to dance in front of you
Marking Place
Writing your name:
Loneliness.
And in the cold of dawn,
His sighs were the wind,
a persistent echo of memories
He'd rather not.
He reached out,
But the void answered,
For loneliness has no body.
In eternal limbo
between wanting and not wanting,
He surrendered to the inevitable.
Until a new day was born
And the light dispelled the mist,
She'd be your only companion.
But for now, night.
Pain and darkness.
Loneliness.
Quiet in the room,
A distant perfume,
Lost whispers.
Ways without turning,
Steps that go.
A love that fades.
Unsent letters.
Forgotten words.
Loneliness.
a look that doesn't say,
But everything reveals.
A look that fades
When the light hides.
loneliness, a shadow,
silent and heavy,
Shadows on the wall.
A dark dress,
She dances in space.
She sits next to you.
Far away Laughter,
echoes of the past,
Orphans of memories.
On the table, a void,
in the cup, a void,
A broken glass,
"we" fragments.
On the leftovers of dinner,
In the shadows, neither me nor you
Untie us.
But there's no more us:
Untie them at dawn;
A new day, a new hope.
She's still there.
At the end of the shadows, depression:
Loneliness.
