Day 24 - Adolescence Poetics
I felt like a spam because it was inappropriate. Inadequacy. That's a circle, you said. Me, square. I'm not a cult, I was screaming, and you weren't even listening. Inadequate was written on my forehead and I, shameless, continued and looked at you and appeared in front of you as one who wanted nothing. That's a rectangle! I heard. Have you changed? I asked, all circular, and you allowed yourself to laugh snob. And it was the most beautiful laugh, even if it was acidic.
I felt like an e-mail never read, sent directly to the dumpster, because to that I was destined. Destiny. That's karma, I kept repeating myself, but it was her you kissed. That's karma, I whispered, but she's the one you have for beauty; and I'm left alone, ugly in this mirror. I was the disgust, the demodity in times of these detached tendencies, of all these red shoes and these confused angles.
Let's face it: I feel like a softkine in blog times. You were looking at me, I was closed, on the shelf, my temple. Unimportant pages, stored on the shelf closer to the ground. No pedestals. The love that got lost on the way between one leaf and another. Maybe an misunderstood sarcasm. I wasn't even real. Inappropriate even in fiction, you'd tell me, if you knew how.
